Hello my friend! I’m so glad that you’re here. Congratulations on your engagement! This is such a sweet season in your lives and I would love nothing more than to capture it. The memories made during this stage will last a lifetime and photographing your wedding is nothing short of an honor.
Have a look around and soak everything up, this is such an important phase of life. The two of you will grow closer as the days count down toward the big day.
If you like what you see here, I may just be there with you! I am a light and airy photographer who strives to achieve the look of film with digital photography. If you enjoy clean tones and colors, then I am your photographer. Send me an email, I would love to work with you!
The emotion in seeing each other all dressed up on your wedding day is so special. There is nothing else in that moment but each other. I love capturing the moment for what it truly is, a moment filled with love and devotion.
There’s something about watching flower petals cascade down during a first kiss. Or confetti popping during a killer reception. It’s just too dreamy and it makes me feel like I'm in a novel!
Holding physical items that are a part of a couple’s love story helps me to learn more about them and to serve them better. There’s nothing like a piece of heirloom jewelry from a loved one, or a movie ticket stub from your first date.
My college sweetheart/second shooter and I have been together for five years. We married in 2022 and are the proud cat parents of two tabbies, Bruno and Penny. My little family is everything to me.
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Gracie and I’m the face behind the name of Gracie Cloud Photography. I wear many hats besides being a photographer: as a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend. I’m happily married to Hunter, who is the love of my life. Our fur son’s name is Bruno, and we love him immensely, toe beans and all. At the moment, we are currently renovating our tiny house in rural Lincoln County.
When I’m not capturing moments in time, I often find myself sleeping or with my nose in a book. There’s nothing like a police procedural on a rainy day. I also enjoy watching Netflix and obsessively organizing everything I own.
I’m so grateful for the life we live, because it gives us the opportunity to count each blessing as it comes to us. As a photographer, I get to watch all of this through my lens and I find it to be an incredibly great honor. I would choose this walk and this life every time.
My journey began when I received my first camera. I was probably four or five years old, and this was a Kodak disposable camera. If only we knew how far we could come. I loved taking pictures as a child because it allowed me to explore the world around me in a new way.
As I became older, the equipment I could get my hands on improved. I was in middle school when I acquired a small point and shoot camera. When I upgraded to a crop frame in junior high, I could have melted. Fast forward to high school, where I was asked if I could take someone’s senior portraits. I jumped at the opportunity and gave a family some fun shots to remember of their son. After graduating high school, I received a real camera and things took off.
My business didn’t truly start until I had acquired my current gear. After hearing about a famous educator through a friend, I began to dig deep.
I could take pictures and somehow get paid? What a concept! I consumed every piece of knowledge I could in the hopes of becoming better as an artist. The moment I realized photography could be my entire life was when I was sitting in a beach house with 13 strangers who had become my friends. While it may not be my day job, it is certainly my life.
I shortly entered the wedding world after that, realizing my dream while on a trip with my now husband. In that moment, I felt clarity, like I could truly see myself attaining my dreams. The same friend who led me to photography education is who let me second shoot with her. My first wedding was so much fun. Everything felt so natural. As a journalist, I was used to being in the background. Now, I am in the background, yet I am celebrated for it. Several second shooting gigs later, I shoot my first wedding for longtime friends of mine. I stood honored as they joined their lives together. I captured that. Never has something felt so special.
Fast forward to today, where I am happily shooting weddings on my weekends when I’m not working at my day job. I am in charge of our bridal registry, so I get to help couples every day. That in itself is a blessing, where my life is truly a service to others.
